President Scott Puckett welcomed the everyone and introduced Dawn Fisher to provide some inspirational words and lead the Pledge and Four-Way Test.
 
Bill Kovach introduced today’s fantastic guest list: Erin Brosseau, Howard Edwards, Erin Wagler, Jim Pinarski, Menessah Nelson, Brad Sheppard, Randall Mason, Vera Shank, Cara Norvell, Trevor Wendzonka, Matthew Bennett and Glenn Petersen. Welcome to ALL our guests, we hope you’ll join us again and consider membership in our Club.
 
President Puckett wished Happy Birthday to those members born this week in history and also happy club anniversary to Pete McCown (5), Bob Schultz (18), Carlos Estevez (38), and member Ray Waldman, who maintains membership in our club while residing in Indianapolis, is celebrating 49 years as a member!

  • Next week, don’t miss Dr. Robert Haworth as he presents on the Elkhart Community Schools’ “One Elkhart Initiative” at our club meeting.
  • Fran Connor announced a networking event for Thursday, March 9, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Brentwood Independent Living Center.
  • Mandy Leazenby announced and encouraged donations for the upcoming Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County’s Bowl for Kids' Sake 2017 on March 10-12. See http://bbbselkhart.org/ for more information.
  • Tony Warning announced that Mike and Jenny Nolan will be hosting a Brazilian Exchange Student beginning mid-August and will be looking for additional host families and activities throughout they year. Contact Tony or the Nolans if you are able to help.
  • Our 2017 Membership Challenge is going well - - we’ll have a great induction ceremony at our special March 13 meeting; continue to urge guests and membership to further our mission.
Sergeant-at-Arms Jeff New extracted some great funds from the club - -remember our fines go toward our community projects and grants we support - - it’s all for a great cause, cough it up!
