As part of its mission to serve the Elkhart community, the Elkhart Rotary Club provides financial support for worthy programs benefiting the Elkhart Community. Requests for grants will be accepted through JANUARY 11, 2019, and normally range from $500 - $1,000; however, the Grant Committee will consider applications of exceptional merit requesting larger grants.
Criteria for measuring all requests are as follows:
- Priority will be given to youth-oriented grant proposals, although other proposals will be considered.
- Proposed projects and the organizations proposing them should have broad community impact.
- Requests for new programs or capital expenditures will be given priority over general operating expenses.
Application Procedure:
- Prepare a cover letter to include a written description of the project. Essential information includes:
- Scope of project
- Total cost
- Amount requested
- If Elkhart Rotary Club has ever funded other projects for organization, how many years and amount(s) given
- Sources of other funding/commitments for your organization
- A narrative describing the project’s impact in your organization and within the community
- Attach the completed form to an email and send to ann.cpa@outlook.com or annm@cornerstonecpagroup.com
- DEADLINE: All requests for funding must be received before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019
Awarding of the Grants. Applicants will be contacted around the first week of February 2019, if not prior, to inform them if their grant was approved. The Grants will be announced and distributed in person at a Rotary meeting in February. Rotary meets Mondays at 12 p.m. at the Matterhorn Conference Center.
